Rioja Vega Reserva 2015 75CL.
Rioja Vega Reserva is a red wine from the DO Rioja produced by the Rioja Vega winery, a centenary winery in the municipality of Viana (La Rioja Baja).
Rioja Vega Reserva is made from the Tempranillo (85%), Mazuelo (5%) and Graciano (10%) varieties. The grapes come from a 70ha estate with calcareous clay soils with optimal drainage and very good water retention.
For its elaboration, a fermentation was carried out at 28ºC for 10 days with a subsequent maceration with the skins for 23 days.
After winemaking, Rioja Vega was aged for 24 months in American and French oak barrels, followed by a 12-month rest in the bottle.
View: cherry red color, high robe, clean and bright.
Nose: intense of very ripe fruit accompanied by toasted aromas, toffee and vanilla.
Mouth: it is sweet and balanced, has a high quality tannic structure and is velvety and with a very good balance.
