Traslascuestas Roble 2018 is a delicious red wine DO Ribera del Duero made with the Tempranillo variety by Bodegas Traslascuestas in Valcavado de Roa (Burgos). Bodegas Fernández de Piérola, in its commitment to sustainable development, has conceived in Bodegas Traslascuestas an eco-efficient and respectful building with the environment, which manages to reach 100% of its thermal requirements thanks to geothermal energy, positioning itself as a pioneer winery in its application in the Denomination of Origin Ribera de Duero.
View: Cherry red, garnet-violet rim and high robe.
Nose: Powerful sensations of ripe black fruits, with toasted notes from the new wood and hints of sweet spicy (black pepper). Balsamic touches that add freshness.
Mouth: It presents a powerful attack with meaty sensations, goes easy and with a very good acidity. Intense, creamy sensation, with ripe tannins. Good weight of fruit, especially black and endowed with a good mid palate. Its sweet tannins and a long finish with hints of coffee trees and light toasts.
Grilled, soft meat stews.
