Cyatho Verdejo Rueda 750ml
The DO Rueda produces wines with body and a golden color that reflects the passion and history of the vine. With this white we can savor the best of Verdejo, as it is a monovarietal wine. The winery that makes it, Bodegas Cyatho, explains that it provides a defined balance between fruit and a bitter varietal touch, very round and fatty.
Cyatho works with Verdejo, using cold fermentation, and searching for a perfect balance of aromas, acidity, body and fullness on the palate. The Verdejo grape has lived in the Rueda Denomination of Origin for centuries and it is believed that its origin may coincide with the reign of Alfonso VI (11th century).
View: Straw yellow with greenish reflections, clean and bright.
Nose: Intense varietal aromas of white fruits with very pleasant herbaceous nuances (fennel, thyme, etc.), with mineral sparkles.
Mouth: Dry, tasty with a balance between fruit and a bitter varietal touch, very round and fatty due to the work with the lees. Sweet and tasty mid palate with a fine and elegant finish due to its just natural acidity.
