Solar Viejo Crianza 2016 Magnum 1,5 LT
In the heart of the Rioja Alavesa and with the protection of the Sierra de Cantabria, Solar Viejo combines tradition with new technologies to produce wines with a unique personality. It was founded in 1937 and is currently a benchmark in the oldest denomination of origin in Spain, La Rioja.
The area covered by the Denomination of Origin extends along the river Ebro through the autonomous communities of La Rioja and the Basque Country mainly and, to a lesser extent, Navarra and Castilla León. The average annual production of Rioja wine is 250 million liters (85% red wine and 15% white and rosé wine). Rioja wines are fresh, aromatic, with a balanced composition and an excellent bouquet. It is, possibly, together with Ribera del Duero, the most prestigious Spanish wine region at an international level. The preferred ink for Rioja wine is Tempranillo, and the authorized Garnacha, Graciano, Mazuelo and Maturana ink. The authorized whites are Garnacha blanca, Viura, Malvasía, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Verdejo, Maturana Blanca, Tempranillo Blanco and Torrontés
